From August 1 to 8, 2025, Porto will welcome young sailors from all over the world for the 29er Class World Championship.
More than 400 athletes and 200 boats, accompanied by coaches and family members, will compete in six intense days of racing, with lots of speed and teamwork.
The event is based at the Douro Marina – the home of BBDouro Nautical Experiences, which is once again organizing a world championship with its seal of quality. The competition will take place along the coast, with the cities of Porto, Matosinhos and Vila Nova de Gaia as a backdrop.
A championship that will test the best – and inspire the next.
