Carlsberg
On large trucks all around the world, we are accustomed to seeing the catchphrase from their advertising. The ‘perhaps the greatest beer in the world’ is now sailing down the Douro River aboard one of our boats, which is painted green and adorned with the brand’s clover.
Caudalie
The French brand, which would go on to become one of the most iconic in European women’s culture, was introduced in 1993. In 2023, Caudalie simultaneously comes to BBDouro and Terra Incognita with two boats in the trademark wine hue of this cosmetics company. The light and fragrant sweet grape cluster is now flowing through the waterways of Porto and Lisbon, from aesthetics to ethics, and from all women to themselves.
Tintas CIN
The Cin Group, a market leader in national paint, partners with BBDouro to promote the brand in an environmentally friendly manner and in connection with a healthy sport by providing the fleet’s most decorated boat. This collaboration started in January 2013, which was over a year after BBDouro was established.
Cutty Sark
The final ship of this kind, the renowned Cutty Sark tea clipper from the “extreme clipper” class, is maintained as a reminder of a past period by the whisky of the same name.
Since the Cutty Sark brand joined the BBDouro fleet, the picture of this boat became a landmark through one of our sailboats around the Douro River.
Goldenergy
The Goldenergy green joined BBDouro’s fleet in 2021, in a sustainable partnership that couldn’t be greener: BBDouro is a sailing company with ambitious and well-defined sustainability and environment goals, and Goldenergy is the only 100% green energy provider in Portugal.
According to the boat with the Goldenergy logo, this partnership demonstrates to Porto and Gaia’s riverbanks that “wind is not only for sailing”.
JOP Landrover
With its shiny and extremely reflective design, JOP’s Landrover dealership now sails the Douro River, giving the BBDouro fleet new vitality. Through the unusual front bumper grille that distinguishes the most recent Range Rover from the English brand, this boat connects JOP and Landrover.
We can now appreciate how these two brands seem on a sailboat that can go anywhere, much like the luxurious Range Rover of the latest generation.
Lusíadas Saúde
Since 2019 with BBDouro, the Lusíadas Saúde group and BBDouro increasingly navigate hand in hand towards social awareness and well-being of their Employees. The brands have been challenged to work toward a greater good with initiatives like Solidarity Sailing and Sailing Without Barriers, while initiatives like Employee Experience Algarve 2021 and the yearly event with employees and their families demonstrate a special concern by Lusíadas for their Teams. In the second year of the Lusíadas Saúde Porto Sailing event, which took place in 2021, the two businesses together created the First Accessible Regatta in Portugal, which featured two competitions and social gatherings on both land and water. Nowadays, the original motto ‘We know how to care’ has evolved not only inside Lusíadas but also in BBDouro’s boats, who now display ‘We Know How to Care for Everyone’ on their decoration.
Natixis
In April 2022, the French company Natixis, which has been in business in Porto since 2017 and has excellent growth potential nationwide, joined the BBDouro fleet. The distinctive violet stroke of this financial giant can now be seen on a boat that spreads color throughout the River Douro and the coastal regions of Matosinhos and Vila Nova de Gaia.
Given that one of the main pillars of the brand CSR strategy is sports, this cooperation has even greater significance.
Nors
The start of this relationship is timed to the rebranding process that gives rise to the NORS brand (September 2013). More than 50 personnel, including administrators and workers from several countries, of one of the biggest organizations established in Northern Portugal, celebrated the christening of the NORS boat.
The NORS boat, whose decoration is a distinctive feature, is utilized for employee skills training and has a long history of engagement with sailing.
Redifogo
The association between BBDouro and Redifogo dates back to 2013, through the Sailing Cup Regatta. Being a fundamental part of all safety elements of BBDouro, Redifogo has had a boat with its colors safely sailing on the Douro River since 2015.
Soframa
Your online pharmacy now navigates the waters of the River Douro, with the vibrant and indistinguishable purple and green colors. Seven pharmacies and parapharmacies make up the Sofarma Group, which was founded in the country’s north region and currently spans the Porto and Braga regions.
