Let the wind guide you on a BBDouro boat
Step on board one of our small sailboats to experience the unique sensation of using only the wind to move, feeling the adrenaline of the boat gliding on the water.
For those who wish to experience the unusual sensation of moving simply with the wind and feel the rush of adrenaline as the boat glides over the water, this is the perfect activity. In this two and a half hour experience, you will feel like a true captain by participating in the maneuvers and steering of a small sailboat while enjoying the magnificent landscapes of the riverbanks of Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto.
Boarding Location: Douro Marina – Gate D

Schedule: Every day at 10:30 AM, 02:30 PM and 03:00 PM
Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes
Price: €85.00€ per person
Maximum Capacity: 5 people per boat
Sailing Trials Conditions
- Minimum age: 10 years old.
- The activity is carried out using sailing navigation, except during entry and exit from the marina or due to of lack of wind.
- The fee includes skipper and crew, safety equipment, and participation insurance.
- Customers are distributed randomly among the boats, and it is not possible to specify any preferences at the time of booking. We will not split groups.
- There may be a few (or many) reviving water splashes during this tour.
- This experience is not recommended for pregnant women.
- If you have any health concerns, please inform the crew.

WHERE WILL YOU SAIL?
Departing from Douro Marina, and depending on the wind, we will take you on a saling trip through the beautiful scenery of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. Along the way, don't miss some of the most iconic landmarks such as the Arrábida Bridge, the old market (Alfandega), the Porto wine cellars, and the Luiz I Bridge. And don't forget to immerse yourself in the sea breeze as we head towards the mouth of the Douro River, where you can enjoy the view of Foz do Douro and the new cruise terminal. There will be plenty of picturesque spots to capture memories.
