In June 2024, we completed the process of acquiring FeelDouro, a maritime-tourism company based in the Douro Marina, which has always focused on providing exclusive Sightseeing Tours along the entire length of the Douro River waterway, from its mouth to Barca de Alva.
The integration of this new brand marks another moment in the BBDouro Group’s expansion and was accompanied by the challenge of rebranding FeelDouro. To this end, our marketing and communications team drew up various proposals for a new logo, accompanied by a communications strategy that reflected its essence and that of the group.
In the logo redesign process, we maintained the visual standard of all the group’s brands by incorporating the ‘BB’ symbol into the letter ‘O,’ creating an immediate connection with BBDouro’s identity. Additionally, we conducted detailed research of references, which allowed us to define a color palette inspired by the Douro’s terraced vineyards, capturing the essence of these stunning landscapes and giving the logo a representation of sophistication and natural beauty.
The implementation of this rebranding extended to various mediums. From graphic materials to the renewal of uniforms and the decoration of the boats, every detail was carefully planned to ensure a cohesive image at every customer touchpoint.
This rebranding symbolizes the union of two success stories and the final step in the integration of FeelDouro into the group. By aligning our strategy, we reinforce our commitment to providing unique experiences, on every tour, to all those who wish to fall in love with the charms of the Douro River.
