MOUSTACHE MONTH IS AROUND THE CORNER!
Movember is just around the corner and, as usual, BBDouro has several ideas for the community to support this cause.
In November, all BBDouro men (and women) are challenged to grow a moustache and contribute to the Movember Foundation. Find out how you can help the BBDouro MoBros team to support this cause!
EVERY MUSTACHE COUNTS!
This year, the BBDouro MoBros team wants to raise 1000 dollars for the Movember Foundation and thus contribute to raising awareness of men’s health.
But the success of Movember is only possible with the support of the entire BBDouro community, and their moustaches!
Since 2013, BBDouro has joined this cause and has not only grown a moustache, but also donated around 2200 dollars to the Movember Foundation to fight the diseases that affect thousands of men every year.

A social responsibility action for the entire BBDouro community.
From November 1st, for every employee or member of the BBDouro community (skippers, students, alumni, followers, clients, etc.) who grows a moustache, BBDouro will make a donation to the Movember Foundation.
We’re going to grow our own too!
How can you participate and ensure that the BBDouro MoBros team includes your moustache in the calculations?
- Grow a moustache
- Take or let us take a big picture.
- For every snarky photo in which BBDouro is identified, we will donate $2.00 to the Movember Foundation;
- If the photo is on our premises, inside a boat or with one of our boats in the background, we will double our donation and give $4.00 to the Movember Foundation.
- Post the photo on Instagram or Facebook (in story, post or reel format) identifying the BBDouro page (IG: @bbdouro_sailing, FB: @bbdouro) and using the hashtags #BBDouroMoBros #Movember
IN NOVEMBER, ADULT SAILING CLASSES ARE WORTH MUSTACHE MILES
During the month of November, we will be converting the miles from the BBDouro Nautical Experiences Adult Academy sailing lessons (group or private) into donations for the Movember Foundation.
For each sailing lesson, we will donate $0.60 for every mile sailed*.
How you can help BBDouro MoBrosteam?
- If you’re not already a BBDouro sailor, sign up for our beginner, advanced or private lessons and book your lessons for November now!
- If you’re already a student, clear your schedule for the month and make sure that “rain or shine”, you don’t miss your lessons
*BBDouro will assume an average of 10 nautical miles per class, for a total of $6.00 in donations for each class held.
