MOUSTACHE MONTH IS AROUND THE CORNER!

Movember is here and, as usual, BBDouro has some ideas for the WE DO SAILING community to support this cause.

In November, all BBDouro men (and women) are challenged to grow a moustache and contribute to the Movember Foundation. Find out how you can help the BBDouro MoBrosteam support this cause!

$1,000 IN MOUSTACHES

BBDouro MoBros aims to raise 1000 dollars for the Movember Foundation and thus contribute to raising awareness of men’s health.

But the success of Movember is only possible with the support of the entire We Do Sailing community, and their moustaches!

IF YOU'RE A TRUE WE DO, THEN GROW A MOUSTACHE!

A social responsibility action for the entire WE DO SAILING community.

In November, for every employee or member of the BBDouro community (skippers, students, alumni, followers, etc.) who grows a moustache, BBDouro will make a donation to the Movember Foundation.

How can you participate and ensure that the BBDouro MoBros team includes your moustache in the calculations?

Grow a moustache
Take a photo with your moustache (or make a video), but beware: the value of the donation depends on the quality of the photo!
- For every photo in which BBDouro is identified, we will donate $2.00 to the Movember Foundation;
- If the photo istaken on our premises, inside a boat or with one of our boats in the background,we will double our donation and give $4.00 to the Movember Foundation.
Post the photo on Instagram or Facebook (in story, post or reel format) identifying the BBDouro page (IG: @bbdouro_sailing, FB: @bbdouro) and using the hashtags #BBDouroMoBros #Movember

IN NOVEMBER, ADULT SAILING CLASSES ARE WORTH MUSTACHE MILES

Throughout November, BBDouro will donate $0.60 for every mile sailed during the Adult Academy’s sailing classes (group or private).

During the month of November, we will be converting the miles from our Adult Academy sailing classes (group or private) into donations for theMovember Foundation.

For each sailing lesson, we will donate $0.60 for every mile sailed*.

How you can help BBDouro MoBrosteam?

If you’re not already a BBDouro sailor, sign up for our beginner, advanced or private lessons and book your lessons for November now!
If you’re already a BBDouro sailor, clear your schedule for the month and make sure that “rain or shine”, you don’t miss your lessons!

*BBDouro will assume an average of 10 nautical miles per class, for a total of $6.00 in donations for each class held.

Our goal for 2023 is to raise $1,000 between our Movember initiatives and contributions from our We Do Sailing community!

Since 2013, BBDouro has joined this cause and has not only grown a moustache, but has also donated more than 1300 dollars to the Movember Foundation to fight the diseases that affect thousands of men every year.
