One of the biggest annual sailing events in Portugal is back! This year, with another challenging and conscious theme: ‘Caring is Promoting Healthy Lives’!

On the weekend of September 17th and 18th, Douro Marina will host one of the most emblematic sailing events in northern Portugal – Lusíadas Saúde Porto Sailing. BBDouro, with the strong sponsorship of Lusíadas Saúde, which is reinforcing its commitment to national sport, invites you to take part in Lusíadas Saúde Porto Sailing 2022, an event that brings together the 12th edition of the Regata do Infante, for cruising boats, and the 3rd edition of the Women on Water Regatta Porto, an event contested exclusively by female crews in J70 boats, which will serve as a national qualifier for the world final in this category.

After the challenge of inclusion and diversity presented to the participants in 2022, this year, the focus of the event is placing sports within a healthy and active lifestyle. In addition to the sporting events, we will have dedicated lectures led by experts on various topics and, among other activities, land-based Pilates classes. BBDouro and Lusíadas Saúde continue to support inclusion, considering different characteristics and limitations. This event is ready For All. Additionally, environmental preservation and awareness will be a fundamental pillar of this event!

As usual, we will also have several moments dedicated to the Lusíadas Saúde community and their families, including the traditional Family tours, where Employees and their families sail with BBDouro on the Douro River.

Lusíadas Saúde Porto Sailing 2022 has an agenda prepared for sailing enthusiasts, but also for everyone who wants to come along, get to know and let themselves be impacted by this challenging and fun weekend!
