After an intense high season, there’s nothing better than slowing down and celebrating the partnerships that make our work possible. The FeelDouro Open Day, which took place on October 22, was designed to do just that – a moment to disconnect, swap the computer screen for the banks of the Douro and turn email messages into genuine conversations, with a view of the river and a glass of wine in hand.
On this day, we invited our partners to board FeelDouro boats and experience first-hand what they promote and recommend to their customers throughout the year. It was an opportunity to showcase the best of the Douro!
Between smooth sailing, sharing and smiles, there was time to clarify doubts, revisit past events and plan new experiences for the future. The day also had the support of our transfer partners Go Travel Everywhere and the Castas e Pratos restaurant, who helped make the experience even more complete and memorable.
When we felt the enthusiasm and involvement of all the participants, we realized the importance of this type of event, of breaking the formality of the “business partner” and creating closer, more human relationships. It was clear that the FeelDouro Open Day will be an experience to repeat in the coming years – always with the Douro as the stage and the relationship with our partners as the real protagonist.
