For the first time, we will be organizing a Solidarity Open Day exclusively open to associations and social solidarity programs.

More than a social responsibility event that mirrors the principles of BBDouro ForALL, we want this to be a team moment to which everyone can contribute. As such, on September 26, BBDouro’s entire office and operations team will donate their time to ensure all the tours and accompaniment of the institutions. For us, it wouldn’t make sense otherwise!

The contact with the associations invited to take part in this day was made by João Pinto Ribeiro, head of the BBDouro ForALL program. He emphasized that “BBDouro for All’s mission is to bring sailing to as many people as possible, regardless of their physical, social or cognitive condition” and that “this is a project that has had the participation of BBDouro’s internal teams from day one, and having a day when we can all get together to work on it is very rewarding”.

Among the associations present will be CAID, AEDS and APPACDM Gaia.

We will have three boats deployed for each period of the outings, including our INCA Lusíadas ForALL, which is once again playing a key role in promoting Sailing Without Barriers.

BBDouro ForALL

BBDouro ForALL is a brand created in 2014 by BBDouro, dedicated solely and exclusively to leveraging social projects. This extension of the BBDouro brand, in addition to broadening the territory of operation to a single coverage identity and enhancing the value of the current brand, comes with the aim of introducing a social responsibility aspect to the company’s portfolio, opening doors to other entities that wish to associate themselves with the various projects that make up BBDouro ForALL.

BBDouro ForALL is made up of Vela Solidária and Vela sem Barreiras. The target audience is disadvantaged children and young people who live in care or who are part of social groups or projects, and people with disabilities, respectively.
