Following the restructuring announced at the beginning of 2024, which brought together three distinct business areas under a single brand – BBDouro Group – we are excited to share that our expansion process continues.
At the end of June we completed the process of acquiring FeelDouro, a maritime-tourism company created in 2012 and based in the Douro Marina. With an operational base in Pinhão, FeelDouro has always focused on providing exclusive Douro Boat Tours along the entire length of the Douro River, from its mouth to Barca de Alva.
In the view of the Head of Sales & Marketing, Tiago Morais, “this operation is in line with the vision and strategy defined by the Group, as it complements the BBDouro Nautical Experiences offer by increasing our fleet and expanding the sailing area. The FeelDouro brand will be part of the BBDouro Group portfolio because we believe in its strength and positioning in the nautical tourism market in Portugal. Given the time of year when we make this acquisition, we will maintain FeelDouro’s commercial operation and the programs available. We also believe that we will add value to the services we offer, both to BBDouro Group customers and to those who join us on this nautical journey!”
